Anniversary concerts Raimonds Pauls with  Alexander Fokin RadioBand

24 and 25 February 2011 at the National Palace of Culture and Arts "Ukraine" concerts of eminent Maestro Raimonds Pauls and one of the best jazz orchestras in the world, the State Academic Orchestra “Alex Fokin RadioBand”, on the 75th anniversary of the composer.

Raymond Pauls is genius melodist and musician-performer, super professional in everything and... laconic and modest on life man. He became an original entrance ticket to the show business for many well-known performers now. Indeed, any of his songs almost immediately burnt to pop Olympus.

But Raymond Pauls – not only musician in a “clean” kind, he is and prominent cultural worker. A long-term Minister of culture of the country, real "father" of international competition of young performers of popular music, is the «New wave», which for many years held in Jurmala, and which was launched in 1989.

Since 1984, Raymond Pauls did not give full-fledged solo concerts in Ukraine, and we are all very lucky, because his anniversary - a good reason to break this too protracted pause. We expect a wonderful live music from the hands of the Maestro and, of course, from the magnificent "Alex Fokin RadioBand”.

Famous starts in the world will arrive to congratulate a great composer: the best saxophone player of the world, Erik Marienthal (American), magnificent and already well acquainted for Kiev audience on appearances with "Alex Fokin RadioBand" the American vocalist Kim Senders, one of the best drummers of the world, Val'fredo is Reyes-junior(American), representative of great "drummer" dynasty Reyesov. By special invitation of Raimond Pauls represent the hits on English will be a brilliant Finnish pop singer Sonja Bishop and the current permanent Executive “Men’s Songs” by composer, the best singer of Latvia, the laureate of competition “New Wave” in 2005 Intars Busulis, virtuoso guitarist from Canada David West.

And now the main feature of the concert: all hits Raimond Pauls we will hear not only "alive", but in a new way too. That is, not only in super-modern treatment of Alex Fokin and his "RadioBand", but many of them - in English. There will be a surprise: one of the famous hit songs will be performed in Ukrainian language.

The concert will consist of two parts: the first part - the incredible beauty of instrumental music maestro to movies, musicals, dramas, just a concert program. There will be reign instrumental soloists. Raymond Pauls, Eric Marienthal, Valfredo Reyes Jr. and virtuosos of “Alex Fokin RadioBand” prepare for the audience a real feast of memorable melodies, brilliant solos and brilliant improvisation! The second part will be vocal. And so here the audience will hear and remember all the brilliant hits, and in perfect performance! Will not treat and without premiere gifts to Kiev audience from Maestro. They will be the first, who will hear a few new songs from a cycle 2010 years, written on the verses of genius poet Yevgen Evtushenko.

Another, but technical, feature of concert. Musical sounding hall will be quadraphonic! That is, all spectators will be "inside" the music! This effect DOLBY Alex Fokin and his team for the first time in concert practice applied in the Palace "Ukraine" in a joint concert with the electronic group "Shiller" from Germany in 2007. So it will be now too.

Both shows will be recorded on DVD and CD with a super-modern technology and, subsequently, not only those who attended a concert, but all lovers of music maestro will be able to enjoy the unique feeling of belonging to the beautiful.

So, beloved and revered musical world MAESTRO, by ageless hits "Million of red roses," "Antique Clock", "Not a night yet” and more than 400 songs, dozens of movie soundtracks and productions, the creator of an incredible musical elements, in which he reigns - AGAIN IN KIEV!
